Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) have initiated a 24-hour-monsoon control room to tackle emergencies this monsoon. This service will be functional until the end of the season (around October 15) as it came into play from June 1.
Due to ongoing road constructions, it is possible that water could accumulate in those areas. Trees falling during the monsoons has become problematic as well. To tackle these problems and to aid the common man, MMRDA has set up the cell. It is associated will all the major departments of the administration. So once a complaint comes in, analysing the nature of the problem, help will be provided.
The citizens will be able to contact the control room at 022-26591241, 022-26594176 and 8080705051. Citizens can contact on 1800228801 (toll-free number)
