Soon, Juhu will get a makeover under Juhu Beach beautification project which will be undertaken by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for which INR 4 crore will be allotted to K ward.
As part of the beautification, the entrance of the beach will be illuminated including placement of arches, seats, pavements, graffiti and new public toilets. The entrance pillar will be decorated with hanging plants and new dustbins will be placed.

Juhu Chowpatty is favourite among locals and foreigners. Also, as many bollywood celebrities live in the area, it attracts people for possible celeb-spotting. During weekends, Juhu Chowpatty has a footfall of as many as 8,000 people.
To attract more tourists, BMC will also construct a selfie point near Yamuna Nagar, Airport area of Juhu along with an open-air theatre, sculpture and a walking track.
