On the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi, which will be celebrated on July 6, 2023, and visit of a VVIP at Siddhivinayak Temple, the Mumbai Traffic Police has issued temporary traffic arrangements and regulations in Dadar and nearby areas.

During the VVIP's visit, the following traffic rules will be enforced on July 6, 2023, between 14:00 and 17:00.

Here's the list of traffic regulations:

S.K. Bole Road: It will remain closed for all vehicles from Portuguese Church Junction to Sri Siddhivinayak Mandir Junction.

Alternate routes are - Portuguese Church Junction to Gokhale Road, Jakhadevi Junction (right turn), Shankar Ghanekar Road, Sant Rohidas Chowk (rear side entrance of Sri Siddhivinayak Temple), Leningrad Chowk and Appasaheb Marathe Road/ Sayani Road to reach the desired destination.


Kashinath Dhuru road: Kashinath Dhuru Road will remain closed for all types of vehicles from Kashinath Dhuru Junction to Agar Bazar Circle. After the departure of the VVIP convoy, the traffic from Agar Bazar Chowk to the Portuguese Church via S.K. will be regulated and controlled.

Alternate route - From Kashinath Dhuru Junction to Gokhale Road, Portuguese Church Junction to Agar Bazar Chowk to Kashinath Dhuru Road (Left Turn), MTNL Road (Right Turn), Govind Patwardhan Road and Gokhale Road.


The Mumbai Traffic Department, headed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Additional Charge HQ & Central), has appealed to all commuters to follow the temporary traffic arrangements and cooperate with the authorities to ensure a smooth and safe visit of the VVIP.
