Mumbai has been witnessing heavy rains since last night and that has caused waterlogging at various locations. Along with this, a wall has collapsed on a house in Thane’s Ghodbunder area killing one and injuring two.
Police officials, RDMC, one JCB, one rescue vehicle reached the spot after the incident. Meanwhile, the fire brigade vehicles evacuated five adjacent houses.
Heavy Mumbai rains also affected railways where a part of a bridge collapsed on the railway tracks between Andheri and Vile Parle leaving 6 injured. Two people have been reported critical and are currently undergoing treatment at Cooper hospital.
