In order provide free way for Marathon runner at the annual Tata Marathon 2024 on January 21, Mumbai traffic police has made several arrangements in South and Central Mumbai from MRA, Azad Maidan, Kalbadevi, D.B. Marg, Malabar Hill, Worli, Bandra, Dadar and Mahim Traffic Division.
There are seven different categories of run in the said Marathon such as 1. Full Marathon (Amateurs) 2. Half Marathon 3. 10 K Run 4. Full Marathon Elite 5. Champion with Disability Run 6. Senior Citizens Run 7. Dream Run.
Therefore, it is needed to be divert the traffic by making an alternate arrangement by issuing necessary order. However, for the inconvenience of citizens, following route can be used by commuters to travel from South towards North, Airport, Suburbs and from Airport, North to South and Suburbs.
1. Shahid Bhagat singh Rd- P D'Mello Road, Eastern Free way-Wadala- Towards Chembur
2. Shahid Bhagat singh Rd- P D'Mello Road-Dockyard Road Railway Station- Nath Pai Road- Zakeriya Road- RAK Road towards Dadar-Matunga-Sion
3. Shahid Bhagat Singh Rd- P D'Mello Road-Wadi bunder Juction - SVP Road- Bhendi bazaar- Goldeval- towards Girgaum
4. Shahid Bhagat singh Rd- P D'Mello Road- Wadi bunder Juction SVP Road - Dr. Maheshwari Road Ramchandra Bhatt Rd. Mohd. Shaukatali Road towards Gaondevi- Tardev
5. Shahid Bhagat singh Rd- P D'Mello Road- Wadi bunder Juction SVP Road - Dr. Maheshwari Road- Ramchandra Bhatt Rd.-Sir J.J. Chowk Dr. B.A. Road- Dadar- Chembur Eastern Express way towards Thane.

Road- Mirza Galib Road- Nagpada Chowk- Jahangir Beheram Road- Vasantrao Naik Chowk (Tardeo Circle) Javji Dadaji Road- Nana Chowk- August Kranti Road- under Kemps Corner Bridge- Mukesh Chowk- Stephen Church- Nepeansea Road towards Malbar Hill.

Malabar Hill Nepeansea Road- Stephen Church- Under Kemps Corner Bridge- August Kranti Road- Nana Chowk- Javji Dadaji Road-Vasantrao Naik Chowk- Madan Mohan Malviya Road (Tardeo Road)- Vatsalabai Desai Chowk (Haji Ali Chowk)-K K Road- Mahalaxmi Railway Station- Dr. E Moses Road- Senapati Bapat Road- Mahim Sion Link Road Bridge- T Junction- Ganpatrao Tapase Chowk- Sion Bandra Link Road- towards Western Express highway
8. Appasaheb Marathe Road from Leningrad Chowk to Century junction is a one way will be two way.
9. L.J Road, North Bound (Shitladevi Junction, Shitladevi road, Senapati Bapat Road- Mahim Phatak- S.L. Raheja Road- Sion-Mahim Link Road)
10. L.J Road North Bound( Paradise cinema, Mahim Junction-left turn- Mahim Phaatak- S.L. Raheja Road-Sion-Mahim Link Road)
11. Gen. Arunkumar Vaidya Road South Bound (Mahim Causeway, Mahim junction-LJ Road- Paradise Cinema-Shitladevi Junction- Shobha Hotel- Raja Bade Chowk
12. Senapati Bapat Road North Bound- Vehicular Traffic coming from Dadar shall proceed through Mahim Phaatak-S.L. Raheja Road-Sion Mahim Link Road)
13. Sion Mahim Link Road- Vehicular traffic coming from Dharavi shall proceed through S.L Raheja Road- Left turn- Mahim Phaatak- Senapati Bapat Road
14. Vehicular traffic from South bound of S.V. Road-Left Turn Bandra Chowki-Bandra Fly over bridge-Sea link shall proceed through Mahim Causeway- Gen. Arun Kumar Vaidya Road- L.J. Road towards Dadar.
15. Traffic going from Lilavati Juction to Sea link via K.C.Marg take a left turn at Lilavati junction and proceed to L.K.Mehta road to Mahim Causeway Junction will take a right turn towards South Mumbai via Lady Jamshedji Marg.
16. Traffic from the Western Express Highway on the South bound towards Sea Link road is on the Bandra Railway Bridge, towards Mahim will be diverted on Mahim Sleep Road.
17. Vehicular traffic from South bound of Western Express Highway shall not go on Kherwadi fly over bridge - take left turn and shall proceed through Slip Road- Bhaskar Court Junction- Kalanagar junction-MMRDA Junction- Dharavi T Junction -left turn- proceed along Sion Railway Stn and shall proceed towards Sion Highway to their desired destination. Similarly, to take route to Kurla take left turn from MMRDA Junction-Family Court junction and shall proceed towards Kurla to their desired destination.
18. Vehicular traffic from South bound of Western Express Highway shall not go on Kherwadi fly over bridge- take left turn and shall proceed through Slip Road- Bhaskar Court Junction- Kalanagar junction- Dharavi T Junction Right turn to Kemkar Chowk then Left Turn towards Dharavi to their desired destination
19. Vehicular Traffic from BKC shall proceed through MMRDA junction- take left turn - Dharavi T Junction- then either 60 feet road or Sion Bandra Link Road to proceed to their desired destination.
20. Vehicular traffic going through Family Court Bridge towards Bandra Railway bridge shall move along left slip road towards MMRDA Junction towards Dharavi T junction then either 60 feet road or Sion Bandra Link Road to proceed to their desired destination.
