Traffic on Western Railway in Mumbai has been disrupted. A wheel of a local train derailed near Mumbai Central station due to which traffic is currently disrupted.
Local trains running towards Churchgate have been affected. Few local trains are stranded at Mahalakshmi station. Passengers are reporting stranded local trains. Many passengers have alighted on tracks to reach their nearest railway station.
Derailment of one trolley of empty EMU rake in Mumbai Central car shed yard at 11:20 hrs. Restoration in progress, said WR PRO.
