According to a latest update by the Mumbai Traffic Police, it has come to light that Mumbaikars are likely to witness slow traffic movement today, August 4, in some areas of the city for the second consecutive day.
Owing to a pre-scheduled visit of the VVIP, two-wheeler and four-wheeler motorists taking western expressway, eastern freeway, route between NCPA to Vashi and NCPA to Dindoshi should take a note of the slow vehicular movement between 9 am to 8 pm.
Explaining further, the city traffic police, on Twitter wrote, “Due to a pre-scheduled visit of a VVIP to Mumbai, tomorrow 04 August 2022 from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM between NCPA to Vashi, Eastern Freeway and between 03:00 PM to 08:00 PM NCPA to Dindoshi, Western expressway Traffic in the area will be slow."

Similarly, a day earlier on Wednesday, August 3, an advisory was posted by the Mumbai traffic police. If reports are to be believed, due to the VVIP visit, daytime traffic was sluggish on the western expressway and in some other areas near the Santacruz airport. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, there was traffic congestion on the Sion-Panvel highway.
