Nearly 45 BMW cars were destroyed in a major fire that broke down in a godown of the car company in Navi Mumbai’s Turbhe in MIDC area on Tuesday, December 7, evening, stated reports.

Ten fire tenders from Vashi, Turbhe MIDC and Nerul had rushed to the spot wherein the fire dousing operations were conducted for nearly six hours. However, 45 BMW cars that were stationed in the location were completely burnt.

On Wednesday, December 8, an official from the Fire Brigade remarked that no casualties were reported. Based on an account by the PTI, RB Patil, Chief Fire Officer, MIDC fire services remarked that the blaze erupted in the BMW cars showroom at around 5.30 am on Tuesday.

Owing to this fire, Patil mentioned the cars parked there were destroyed. Even though the fire was brought under control at around 1 pm on Tuesday, the cars parked there were completely charred in the fire.
