Navi Mumbaikar's wait of over a decade is going to end soon as Navi Mumbai Metro will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 30.

Moreover, on the same day, NaMo Women Empowerment Campaign will also be launched by the Prime Minister. Therefore, the possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Navi Mumbai city has almost started.

It is pertinent to note that the inauguration was earlier slated to take place on October 26; however, it was postponed due to PM Modi's busy schedule. The will be PM's third visit in the city in this month.

Accordingly, the state government as well as various government officials in Navi Mumbai have started preparations for the possible visit of Prime Minister Modi.

This significant infrastructure development encompasses a total of 11 stations, namely Belapur, Sector-7 Belapur, Science Park, Utsav Chowk, Sector 11 Kharghar, Sector 14 Kharghar, Central Park, Pethapada, Sector 34 Kharghar, Panchanand, and Pendhar Terminal.

Besides, the NaMo women empowerment campaign is likely to be launched at the Navi Mumbai International Airport site. On this occasion, PM Modi will address the citizens. It has been told that more than 1 lakh women from various women self-help groups from across the state will participate in this women's gathering.
