It is being observed that various types of cables have been laid without permission from lamp posts in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area. Due to this, it is pointed out that lamp poles fall down, brackets and fittings on the poles change direction frequently and due to this, accidents often occur. Similarly, due to these cables, the beautification of the city is also hampered on a large scale.
Paying serious attention to this issue, on behalf of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Electricity Department, all cable operators and Internet Service Providers in the municipal area have been instructed to immediately remove the said cable within the next 15 days.
It has been clarified on behalf of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation that if the concerned cable operators and internet service providers do not implement this, the said cables will be removed on behalf of the NMMC and the concerned cable operators, internet service providers will be responsible for the inconvenience caused to the citizens.
