Mumbai - Mumbai traffic Police have decided to ban entry for heavy vehicles in the morning and evening peak hours to avoid traffic snarls. Every day number of vehicles are increasing on Mumbai roads. Due to ongoing metro, mono, electricity and MTNL works In the city, there are traffic jams. Road repairing work going on at different spots are adding to these troubles. To ease this situation between 7am to 11am in the morning and 5pm to 9pm in the evening, heavy vehicles will not be allowed in Mumbai, said upper police commissioner Sanjay Mohite. Vehicles carrying milk vegetables, ambulance, Police van, fire brigade vehicles and government vehicles are exempted from this order.
