An urgent repair has been scheduled on the Thane Municipal Corporation's main water pipeline near the Kalwa tapping point along the 90 Feet Road due to leakage in the air valve. As a result, water supply will be disrupted in parts of Thane city, Kalwa, and Mumbra on Thursday, January 16, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

To fix the leakage in the pipeline, a 12-hour shutdown will be implemented, affecting the water supply from both the municipal corporation and the STEM Authority scheme. Areas including Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanya Nagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Rutu Park, Jail, Gandhi Nagar, Rustamjee, Siddhachal, Indiranagar, Rupadevi, Shrinagar, Samata Nagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, and parts of Mumbra and Kalwa will experience a complete water supply shutdown during this period.
