The Thane Municipal Corporation has announced a scheduled water supply shutdown for 24 hours, from 9:00 am on Friday, September 27, to 9:00 am on Saturday, September 28. This shutdown is to allow for essential maintenance and repairs, specifically to address leakages in the 1530 mm diameter water channel at Pimplas under the STEM Authority scheme.

During this period, areas such as Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanyanagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Ritu Park, Jail, Gandhinagar, Rustamji, Siddanchal, Indiranagar, Rupadevi, Srinagar, Samta Nagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Mumbra, and parts of Kalwa will experience a complete water supply cut. Residents are requested to conserve water and cooperate with the authorities during the shutdown.
