The existing North Foot Over Bridge connecting Platform No. 1 to Platform No. 2 and 3 at Naigaon station will be closed for commuters for a period of o­ne and a half month.

The Western Railway (WR) in its official statement mentioned that this will come into effect from February 14, 2026. It further stated that this is in connection with the work of construction/extension of Foot Over Bridges and platforms at Naigaon station.

During this period, commuters may use the remaining three Foot Over Bridges and the subway available at Naigaon station.

The FOB connects Platform No. 1 with Platforms No. 2 and 3. The closure is necessary due to construction and extension work of foot over bridges and platforms at the station.

The work is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing passenger facilities at Naigaon station. 

Officials stated that inconvenience to the passengers is regretted.

Apart from this, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken o­n UP Fast and 5th line between Ram Mandir and Borivali stations from 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs o­n Sunday, February 15, 2026.
