Human health has become vulnerable and susceptible to a number of problems with high blood pressure and diabetes being the most common in the city.
Patients also have to shell out a lot of money for treatment of malaria, dengue, lepto, cancer and swine flu. People find it difficult to pay for all these medicines and treatment.
But to ease off people’s problems, July 1 onwards, one rupee clinics will offer a 20 percent discount on medicines. “This concept has been started for the benefit of all the patients,” said One Rupee Clinic Dr Rahul Ghule.
