Penguins are still out of Mumbaikars’ eyes

SHARES

Mumbai – The Mumbaikars will have to wait for a few more days to have a look at the penguins stationed at Veer Jijamata Udyan (Ranibaug). Sanjay Tripathi, director of the zoo, informed that temperature of building where penguins will be kept is not as per the requirement.

Meanwhile, standing committee chairman Yashodhar Phanse inspected the building being constructed for penguins by spending Rs 26 crore.

Tripathi had earlier assured Mumbaikars that penguins will be made available for public viewing on November 15. Now, there remains a space to doubt the claim of Tripathi that building for penguins would be ready in next 15-20 days.
