The Thane Municipal Corporation recently announced a recruitment of 42 posts and the application process for the same has started on Monday, June 21, 2021. Candidates interested to apply for the positions have to submit the applications offline until June 29, 2021.
Position Name and Educational Qualification:
Full Time Medical Officer - 14
- Educational Qualification: MBBS and Experienced candidates preferred
Laboratory Technician - 19
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Preference if with DMLT experience
Pharmacist - 8
- Educational Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with D.Pharm or B.Pharm and experience
Program Assistant - 1
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any branch - MS-CIT, Marathi 30 S.P.M. And English 40 Sq.
Age limit: 38 to 70 years.
Examination Fee: No examination fee
Pay Scale:
- Full-time Medical Officer - INR 60,000
- Laboratory Technician - INR 29,400
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturer - INR 19,584
- Program Assistant - INR 19,339
Terms and Conditions:
- Candidates applying for the position will have to submit attested copies of the certificate with the application. The application should include Date of birth, Certificate of Educational Qualification and Marksheet, Certificate of Caste as per experience and government certificate
- Details like full name, address, date of birth, educational qualification, the previous experience should be mentioned and also a passport size photo should be attached with the application
- Registration Certificate and Registration Renewal Certificate is required for positions 1 and 3
- All decisions taken by Thane Municipal Corporation regarding appointment will be final
- Candidates in Government service are required to attach a No Objection Certificate of the office.
- As per the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), these posts will be available on a contract basis and the appointed candidate will not be able to assert any right in the service of Thane Municipal Corporation.
- Selected candidates will be appointed for 11 months, post which the contract might be renewed based on the performance report
- In case of receipt of 10 or more applications for a post, eligible candidates will be interviewed for one post in that category according to merit.
- The date and time of the interview will be informed by email and the schedule of the interview will be published on Thane Municipal Corporation's official website
- The selection list and waiting list will be published after the interviews on the website and appointment orders will be sent to the selected candidates by email.
- The Municipal Corporation reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of posts published in the advertisement and if there is any improvement in the advertisement, the corrigendum will be published accordingly.
