State Commission for Protection of Child Rights to start 'Safe Web for Children' program

The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights is implementing the Safe Web for Children program under its initiative to fight online sexual exploitation and abuse of children. The program will start on 6th August 2024 at 4 PM at Sahyadri Guest House, Malabar Hill.


In collaboration with Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Child Fund India, an online safety initiative for children will be implemented in the state with the aim of protecting children's rights and protecting them from online sexual exploitation and abuse. Women and Child Development Department Minister Aditi Tatkare and School Education Department Minister Deepak Kesarkar will be mainly present in the inauguration ceremony.

This activity will be implemented at the district level to create public awareness among children of all ages and the general public of the state regarding online sexual exploitation. State Child Rights Protection Commission Chairman Adv. Smt. Susieben V. Shah has given this information by issuing a press release.
