Bhima-Koregaon violence accused and the founder of Shiv Pratishthan Hindustan, Sambhaji Bhide was supposed to come to Mumbai for an event which was scheduled on Sunday around 7:00 pm. He was invited to an event which was organised by Shiv Pratisthan Hindustan. But considering Mumbai’s current unrest, the Sanstha themselves cancelled the event.

Shiv Pratisthan Hindustan's member Purushottam Babar said that the event was scheduled a month ago and had filed an application to the Kalachowkie police station for the permission on December 26, 2017.

Prior to Bhide, Mumbai police denied the permission to Chhatra Bharati Students Organisation led All India Students Summit 2018 where Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani and JNU student Umar Khalid were invited, considering the unrest post Maharashtra Bandh.
