Mumbaikar’s have to brace for 100 per cent water cut on January 18 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will undertake repairs of 1200 mm Mahim-Marol Maroshi water pipeline. Because of this, there will be no water supply between Bandra and Santacruz and nearby areas.

The repair work will take place from Marol - Maroshi - Mahim’s Ruparel College to Racecourse because of which the pipeline will not be operational for 12 hours. Though the water supply will be shut down between Bandra and Santacruz, some areas will get water but with low pressure.

Which areas will not get water?

Colaba, Nariman Point to Byculla and Prabhadevi, Dadar to Dharavi. In western suburbs, Bandra to Santacruz.
