Mumbai- BMC standing committee chairman Yahsodhar Phanse has alleged that BJP is sanctioning the tenders in haste as BMC elections are nearing. He added that he is not involved in the same as the state government decides about the projects which are passed by the same. “Once they decide about the project, they send the same to standing committee for the budget. Now we have been told to sanction more than 70 projects,” said Yashodhar Phanse, Standing Committee chairman. He further added that many of the tenders are directly being passed without standing committee’s decision.
