On Mahaparinirvan Day, lakhs of followers from all over the country come to Chaityabhoomi to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed in the meeting on Wednesday that strict planning should be made to provide necessary facilities to all the systems.
December 6 is the 67th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the creator of the Indian Constitution. On this occasion, darshan arrangements are being made at Dadar Chaityabhoomi and various places associated with Babasaheb Ambedkar in Mumbai, as well as central arrangements are being made at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maidan. This preparation was reviewed under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, last year lakhs of devotees were well arranged by BMC and all systems. This year also, if necessary, the errors in last year's system should be removed and maximum facilities should be provided. The transport system of BEST, ST should be carefully planned to avoid traffic jams and policing. Regarding health and hygiene, cleanliness should be strictly done by the concerned institutions and vigilance should be maintained. The Chief Minister also gave instructions regarding food, accommodation and health facilities to the followers.
