In a recent update, Mumbai's T-Series office was sealed as an employee tested positive for Coronavirus, on May 10, 2020. The building was declared a containment zone by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and it is said that the patient is a caretaking staff at the music label.

Helmed by Bhushan Kumar, the office in Andheri West was functioning with limited staff and followed the instructions given by the government. Further, the office was shut before the lockdown was announced in March and only caretakers and security guards have been present in the building. Officials have taken the employees to the hospital for further screening and the information regarding the containment zone has been placed outside the building.

Talking to Indianexpress, T-Serie spokesperson stated. "The building was sealed today after the concerned person was taken to a quarantine centre. A few others have also been tested, but their results are awaited. Some of the staff includes migrants who could not go back to their hometowns. So, they have been living in the building. There are separate rooms for the staff. A couple of them, who live in chawls, decided to stay put in the building with the rest of their colleagues.”

Further, it is also reported that the Stagg members are being taken care of properly by the company and groceries and essentials have been given as required. Upon knowing the same, Bhushan Kumar and his team are making necessary arrangements to ensure safety.

Ever since the lockdown was announced in the country, the media and entertainment industry has been following orders. Events, shoots, and other related activities were cancelled and the members of the fraternity have shown their support by observing the 'stay at home' practice.
