The schedule for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the Maharashtra State Examination Council, has been announced. Interested candidates can apply online between September 15 and October 3, and the exam will be held on November 23.
The TET exam is mandatory for appointments to teaching positions from classes 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 across all managements, boards, and mediums, including aided, unaided, and permanently unaided schools.

Candidates should note that the schedule is subject to change due to administrative reasons. Any updates will be provided on the website.
Important Notice: Candidates involved in TET malpractices in 2018 and 2019 are not eligible to apply for this exam, as per Examination Council Commissioner Anuradha Oak.
In the previous TET, 3,53,952 teachers appeared for the exam, but only 11,168 (about 3.38%) passed.
