In a new development, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has initiated online service to grant lease within 33 days for the buildings owned by the civic body. Currently, almost 46,000 tenants are living in 3,505 BMC-owned buildings including commercial and residents.
The concerned documents can be submitted online through http://www.mcgm.gov.in or https://portal.mcgm.gov.in.

After the verification of documents, applicants will have to visit ward office to pay the fee. Through SMS or email, the applicants will be notified about the ward which they are supposed to visit. BMC will have to process the applications within 33 days of its submission date.
