The renovation of the Thane Municipal Corporation's Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan theater building is now in its final stages. The theatre will soon be open to the public. Before that, senior artists, producers and officials inspected the work being completed on Wednesday. He has expressed satisfaction with the renovation work and expressed his desire to experiment on this stage as soon as possible.

Additional Commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation, Sandeep Malvi, along with President of the Akhil Bharatiya Natya Parishad, Prashant Damle; senior producer and director Ashok Hande; producers Dilip Jadhav and Prasad Kamble; as well as renowned theatre artists, actors, and directors from Thane such as Mangesh Desai and director Viju Mane, visited and inspected Rangayatan (the theatre venue).

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Umesh Birari, Suburban Engineer Sudhir Gaikwad, Shubhangi Keswani, Executive Engineer Bhagwan Shinde, and others were also present.

The renovation work of Gadkari Rangayatan is in its final stages. An effort has been made to provide as many facilities as possible while maintaining the limitations of the old structure. The Municipal Corporation has also taken note of the suggestions made by the artists and producers during the inspection conducted. Additional Commissioner Sandeep Malvi clarified that immediate action will be taken on them and the theatre will be opened for theatre lovers as soon as possible.

“Inspected the work at Gadkari Rangayatan once again today. The work has been done well. The sound and lighting systems are also in good condition. A few suggestions were made for improvements to the stage curtain and backstage area. Now, we look forward to getting the opportunity to stage performances here as soon as possible”, said Prashant Damle, President, Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Natya Parishad.
