Heavy waterlogging on the main road on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route has led to traffic jams from Gaymukh to Vasai. Police are appealing to avoid traffic on this route if possible.
Many main roads have become waterlogged due to rains in Thane and Palghar districts on Wednesday. Mumbai Ahmedabad Road is waist-deep in water. So many vehicles are stuck on this road. Due to the accumulated water, it has affected the traffic system on the Ghodbunder route. There is a traffic jam on the Ghodbunder road from Gaymukh to Bapane police post in Vasai. Therefore, the police have appealed to avoid traffic on this route if possible.
