Coronavirus Vaccination Update: Here's the list of Centres administering both doses across Mumbai today

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday, August 24, will administer both doses of Covaxin and Covishield jabs to eligible beneficiaries across 192 centres in the city.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday, August 24, will administer both doses of Covaxin and Covishield jabs to eligible beneficiaries across 192 centres in the city.

As per new orders, all the civic and state-run centres will be operational for beneficiaries above 18 years of age from 9 am to 5 pm. 

The civic administration has also arranged special inoculation sessions for pregnant women. They can get vaccines at Nair Hospital, JJ Hospital, Dr Babasaheb Memorial GH, KEM Hospital, Sion Hospital, Mahim maternity home, Cooper Hospital, MW Desai hospital, Riddhi Garden municipal dispensary, Chowksi maternity home, ESIS hospital, BDBA hospital, Maasaheb Meenatai Thackeray maternity home, Centenary Govandi hospital, RCF, BARC, and VD Savarkar hospital.

Besides, students or professionals from Mumbai travelling abroad for higher studies or jobs can get inoculated at Kasturba Hospital, KEM Hospital, Sion Hospital, Cooper Hospital, Dahisar Jumbo centre, Centenary Govandi hospital, and Rajawadi hospital. BMC has urged the beneficiaries to carry the documents at the centres.

BMC has also drive-in facilities for beneficiaries above 45 years of age at Cooperage Garden drive-in (Nariman Point), Willington Sports Club (Tardeo), NSCI Dome (Worli), and Kohinoor parking lot (Dadar).

Healthcare and frontline workers due for their second doses will also be given the jab at any of the centres.While the BMC has released a list of vaccination centres administering Covishield to all above 18 years across Mumbai for today:

Moreover, today, August 24, both the doses of Covaxin will be administered across 27 centres in Mumbai. The centres will be allocating 50 per cent of the doses for online registration, and the remaining 50 per cent can be availed offline.

Beneficiaries have been asked to carry the certificate of their first dose of Covaxin at the time of getting their second shot.
