A traffic block of one and a half hours will be conducted on Yashwantrao Chavan (Mumbai-Pune) Expressway on Thursday, January 18, 2024. At Chikhale Bridge (Chain No. Km. 07/560) on the Mumbai Channel, installation of girders will be done on Thursday (January 18) by Mumbai Rail Development Corporation. For this work, the traffic block will be taken on the expressway from 11:00 am to 1:15 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. During this time, the traffic going from Pune to Mumbai will be completely closed during the work. During this period, traffic has been diverted from Pune to Mumbai by an alternative route.

Light vehicles coming from Pune to Mumbai on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will use the Mumbai Lane Km. No. 55/500 by diverting to Mumbai-Pune National Highway no. 48 will pass through this route. Light vehicles and buses coming from Pune to Mumbai on Expressway Mumbai Lane Km.No. 39/800 by turning from Khopoli exit to Mumbai-Pune National Highway no. 48 will pass through this route. All types of vehicles coming from Pune to Mumbai via Expressway should take Khalapur toll gate, last lane and divert from Khalapur exit (km 32/500) to National Highway no. 48 will be routed through the Mumbai Canal via the Shedung Toll Plaza via the Khopoli town on the old Mumbai Pune route.


All types of vehicles coming from Pune to Mumbai on expressway Mumbai lane km. No. 9/600 Panvel Exit and take Mumbai- Pune National Highway no. 48 will be routed to Kalamboli via Karanjade. All types of vehicles coming from Pune to Mumbai on this route will go directly towards Panvel from Shendug Phata. After the completion of the work, the traffic from Pune to Mumbai on the expressway will resume.
