On Sunday morning, a worker and contractor died in Bhayander east after a slab collapsed on them in Bhayander East during house repair work. The accident occurred while repairing a house on the ground floor in Srinath Jyoti Building, opposite Navghar Police Station.
On receiving information about the incident, fire brigade personnel arrived and immediately took the labourers out and took them to the hospital, but two labourers died.
The deceased were identified as Harinam Chauhan (3), and Makhan Lal Yadav (3). Akash Kumar Yadav has been injured and is undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
