Attention! Water cut for 24 hours on January 19 in Thane

A 24 hour shutdown will be conducted between January 19 and January 20 from 9:00 am by Thane Municipal Corporation's own plan and M. STEM Authority.

During this shutdown period, urgent works such as maintenance and repair work, installation of new motor control panels at Temghar water treatment centre and connection to the main water channel under Kalwa Ward Committee will be undertaken.

Accordingly, water supply will be shut off for 24 hours in Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanyanagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Ritu Park, Jail, Gandhinagar, Rustamji, Siddhachal, Indiranagar, Rupadevi, Srinagar, Samtanagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Mumbra and Kalwa areas of Thane city.

Due to the above shutdown, there is a possibility of low pressure water supply for the next 1 to 2 days till the water supply returns to its previous position. However, the municipality has appealed to the citizens to keep adequate stock of drinking water and to cooperate with the municipal corporation.
