Mumbai - The Shiv Sena has already announced its plan to hold party’s last election rally for the BMC polls at the BKC ground here. The party is now facing problems in getting permissions for this crucial meeting. Party MLC Anil Parab has alleged that chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is creating obstacles in Sena’s meeting to hold the public meeting in favour of the BJP. It would worth interesting to see who holds the ground finally. Both the parties have staked their claims for the BKC ground. On January 12, Shiv Sena had sought permission from the MMRDA to hold the public meeting on February 18 at this ground. But the MMRDA has not given required permissions to the party. Shiv Sena MP Anil Desai has alleged that chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is pressuring the MMRDA authorities not to give permission to the Shiv Sena. The party will organize its last public meeting for the BMC elections on this ground and if permission is not given, the party will approach the State Election Commission in this regard, said Anil Parab. It is said that Sena ministers will hand over their resignations from the state cabinet in this meeting. Due to fear of losing the elections, the BJP government and party office-bearers are taking efforts for the failure of Sena meeting.
