Mumbai- Congress corporator Binita Vora of Vile Parle’s ward no 65 is under the radar for constructing illegal construction. BMC has sent the notice to Vora family on 6th December asking why BMC should not demolish the structure. Vora family was supposed to reply in seven days but the former did not reply. However, BMC instead of demolishing, Vora family was cleared of the charges. And so Shiv Sena’s leader Jitendra Janawale went to court and the latter asked the BMC to take action against the guilty Vora family. Following to which, BMC commissioner apologized.
On Tuesday, ward officer Parag Masurkar said that building proposal will decide what to do with the illegal construction. Meanwhile, he added that they have not received any such instructions while BMC has taken a stand that they will take action against the guilty.
