The three major locations- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) office and Bandra-Worli Sea Link - were lit in blue for a special reason on Wednesday.

On the occasion of World Children's Day and the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Maharashtra took steps to spread awareness about child rights and their safety.

UNCRC and UNICEF Maharashtra collaborated together and lit up three major landmarks in Mumbai blue. The three major locations were Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) office and Bandra-Worli Sea Link.  

Children had gathered around the landmarks and held placards which created awareness and urged each member in the society to take action in order to create safe environments where children can live, learn and thrive without fear.
