A Major power block will be taken on UP & DN harbour lines and on UP & DN slow and Fast lines on date January 6, 2024 from 1.40 to 4.40 hrs between Andheri and Vile Parle. Due to this block, some local trains will be fully, or partially cancelled.

Moreover, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, overhead and signalling equipment, a Jumbo Block of three hours will be taken on all Mumbai Central main line Platforms from 01.00 hrs to 04.00 hrs on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway (WR), during the block period, all Fast line trains will be operated on Slow line between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local). Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters.
Therefore, there will be NO BLOCK in DAY TIME over Western Railway Suburban Section on this Sunday, January 7.
