In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old woman was murdered, and her mother was stabbed by her own relatives for missing a funeral in the neighbourhood. Mumbai police have arrested two couples in connection with this crime.

The victims have been identified as Kajal Pawar (30) and her mother (50), Vaishali Pawar.

Anjali Bhosale, the sister of the deceased and youngest daughter of Vaishali, is the witness and complainant of the incident.

Officials stated that it took place on Tuesday night, June 27, near Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road, where Krishna Pawar's brother lived. If reports are to be believed, Krishna Pawar's brother funeral took place earlier in the day.

According to her, Krishna Pawar got upset when he found that Kajal Bhosale alias Kajal Pawar and her mother, who lived nearby, could not attend the burial ceremony. The complaint alleges that Krishna Pawar resorted to violence.

According to her, Krishna Pawar used a knife to assault her mother, causing severe injuries. In an attempt to protect their mother, Anjali's sister intervened while she was stabbed by Krishna.

The police responded to the incident and arrested Krishna Pawar and his wife. They also arrested another married couple believed to be involved in the crime. A thorough investigation is currently underway to gather evidence and establish the exact sequence of events that led to the tragic outcome.

Charges have been filed against the four individuals involved. Krishna Pawar and his accomplices face charges of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for the fatal stabbing Anjali Bhosale's sister. Additionally, they are also charged with attempted murder under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code for the assault on Anjali's mother.
