Firoz Nadiawala's wife gets bail in drug case

According to sources, Firoz Nadiadwala's wife has been granted bail after drugs were seized at their residence in suburban Juhu.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had earlier arrested producer Nadiawala’s wife with regards to the case of Sushant Singh Rajput and the drugs angle. As per reports, Nadiwala’s wife was released on a bail of ₹15,000.

The NCB has been continually raiding the homes of several film stars, directors and producers. A stock of drugs was seized from the house of famous Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala in an operation late on Saturday night. Moreover, the officials informed that 10 grams of marijuana were seized adding that the contraband was prima facie procured from Wahid Abdul Kadir Sheikh alias Sultan who was arrested earlier.

In the past, the NCB had summoned employees of KWAN talent agency in the midst of its investigation into the alleged Bollywood-drug nexus. The development came with Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash evading multiple summonses after drugs were seized at her residence.

Earlier on Monday, the NCB had also conducted a raid at the house and workplace of actor Arjun Rampal in Mumbai. It had previously taken Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades's brother Agisilaos in custody over connections with alleged drug peddlers.
