Antilia, which happens to be the residence of Mukesh Ambani has 27 floors, is 173 metres (568 ft) tall, over 37,000 square metres (400,000 sq ft), and with amenities such as three helipads, air traffic control, a 168-car garage, a ballroom, nine high-speed elevators, a 50-seat theatre, terrace gardens, swimming pool, spa, health centre, a temple, and a snow room that spits out snowflakes from the walls.

In recent developments, located on Altamount Road, Cumballa Hill in Mumbai, Antilia was subjected to a bomb scare which led to Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze, who was initially investigating the high-profile case later being arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Moreover, he has been suspended from service.

Waze has been arrested under IPC sections 286 (negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance) 465 (forgery), 473 (making or possessing counterfeit seal, etc with intent to commit forgery), 506(2) (punishment for criminal intimidation), 120 B (criminal conspiracy) and relevant provisions of the Explosive Substances Act.

According to the CCTV footage, an Innova car was witnessed with explosives on February 25. On the other hand, in a suspensive turn of events, Mr Hiren, the owner of the vehicle that was found containing explosives outside the house of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, was found dead in a creek on March 5 in Thane.

What remains to be understood is the security system of Antilia and how it functions that a car with explosives was left outside the house of Ambani and went undetected for hours. In addition, several leaders have slammed the Centre for poking in, adding that the intrusion by the Centre was uncalled for.
