On Thursday evening, October 21, a special NDPS court in Mumbai extended the judicial custody of Aryan Khan and other seven accused arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case till October 31.

Earlier in the day, the bail pleas of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and two others namely Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were rejected by the special court.

In light of this, based on reports, Khan’s lawyers have moved the plea in the Bombay High Court against the rejection of the bail. Senior Counsel Amit Desai and Advocate Satish Manshinde couldn’t mention the plea before the judge on Wednesday owing to the shortage of time, it is anticipated that it will be put up for an urgent listing on Thursday morning. In addition to Khan, even Dhamecha has approached the High Court.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan, paid a visit to his son, in Arthur Road Jail on Thursday.

In addition, actor Ananya Panday's Mumbai home was also raided today afternoon, October 21, by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Following which, her laptop and mobile phone were seized, reportedly in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case. Moreover, Panday was also summoned by the anti-drugs agency. The actress went for her questioning to the NCB office with her father Chunky Panday, who is also an actor.
