On Wednesday, the bail pleas of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and two others namely Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were rejected by the special court. According to accounts, whilst denying the bail for Khan who has been in custody since October 3, the special court stated that because Merchant was with Khan, who was found with contraband that Khan knew about, it becomes “conscious possession”.

In light of this, based on reports, Khan’s lawyers have moved the plea in the Bombay High Court against the rejection of the bail. Senior Counsel Amit Desai and Advocate Satish Manshinde couldn’t mention the plea before the judge on Wednesday owing to the shortage of time, it is anticipated that it will be put up for an urgent listing on Thursday morning. In addition to Khan, even Dhamecha has approached the High Court.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan, paid a visit to his son, in Arthur Road Jail on Thursday.

On October 2, Aryan was apprehended with Merchant at the international cruise terminal in Mumbai before they could board the luxury cruise which was claimed to have held a rave party. Whilst, no contraband was found on Khan, some were seized from Merchant.
A magistrate court on October 8 had rejected the bail application of Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha because it didn’t have the jurisdiction to hear the pleas.
