On October 3, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Following which, SRK’s son, Aryan Khan, was arrested under the NDPS Act and produced before court today, October 4. The raid yielded 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD in all.

After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bollywood is under the scanner of the anti-drugs agency. The first one to be reprimanded was his girlfriend Riya Chakraborty. Later, it came to light that Rhea had mentioned the names of various top actors and actress. She was granted bail later.

Rakul Preet Kaur was first summoned by the NCB in August. However, the actress has been denying all the allegations during the interrogation, which is being taking place since August 31.

On September 25, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was summoned by the anti-drugs agency last year following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, which triggered an investigation into the film industry and the drug nexus that has been linked to many of the top brass in Bollywood. However, Padukone was sent home post the questioning and seemingly given a clean chit.

Along with Rakul Preet Kaur, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan’s name in the news had grabbed many eye balls. It was learned that Sara used to attend several parties at Sushant's farmhouse. When Sarah was questioned about this, she categorically denied taking drugs.

Shraddha Kapoor was also on the radar of NCB due to WhatsApp chat. Shraddha and Jaya Shah's WhatsApp chat revealed that she was using CBD Oil. CBD Oil falls into the category of drugs. The NCB then questioned Shraddha.

At the same point in time, the agency had raided the premises of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal in connection with drug-related cases following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, during the interrogation, Rampal had clarified that he had used drugs for medical purposes. Recently, the actor made headlines once again last month when his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos Demetriades was arrested a second time with his connection to drugs.

The NCB had also arrested comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa in November last year after it seized drugs from their house in Mumbai.
The NCB had searched the couple’s office and house and recovered 86.5 grams of cannabis from both places, according to reports. A Mumbai Court granted them bail of INR 15,000 each a few days later.
