Mumbai - Foreign currency worth Rs 43.15 lakh was seized at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport by the Air Intelligence Unit on Wednesday. According to reports, one Mohammed Shohib Arab was heading to board Indigo Airlines flight 6E-63 for Dubai. The suspicious movements of Mohammed Shohib Arab while clearing the boarding pass were noticed by the AIU sleuths. When searched, the AIU personnel found currencies of UAE, US Dollars collectively worth Rs 43.15 lakh in his bag. During investigation, the said person failed to answer the questions of AIU and hence he was arrested. Further investigation is underway in this case.
