Goregoan- Around 12.30 pm on 28th December, fire broke out at hotel Golden Sherriot of Hub mall at Goregaon. Immediately, security guards rescued people and were escorted out of the mall. Meanwhile, eight fire engines and two ambulances reached the spot. However, no casualty was reported. “The kitchen of the hotel is in the passage. We have sent notices to the BMC, fire brigade and police yet no one took action,” said Fakruddin Sheikh, eye witness and shop owner.
