In Dharavi, there was an incident where the husband tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on his wife and setting her on fire due to a domestic dispute. In this incident, both suffered severe burns and have been admitted to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Sion. In this case, the Dharavi police have registered a case against the husband for attempted murder.
The incident took place at Ashok Galli in Naik Nagar, Dharavi. A couple Priya Dhuria (26) and Anil Dhuria (26) lived in room number 415 there. Both of them had a fight on Wednesday. Anil was drunk at that time. He poured kerosene on Priya's body and set her on fire. After that he poured petrol on his body and set it on fire.

In this incident, both suffered severe burns and were immediately admitted to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital in Sion. Doctors said that the condition of both is critical. In this case, the Dharavi police have filed a complaint and have registered a case of attempted murder against Anil. Police said that Priya sustained 100 percent burns and Anil sustained 90 percent burns in the incident.
