Popular Marathi actor Prafulla Bhalerao passed away yesterday early morning while he was commuting from his office in Malad to home in Girgaum.The actor was trying to board a running Churchgate train on Monday morning at 4:16 am from Malad station where he slipped and tumbled down the platform.
The GRP present at the Malad station took Prafulla to Babasaheb Ambedkar hospital in Kandivli, where he was declared dead. A post-mortem examination showed head injuries to be the cause of his death.
Prafulla came to fame as a child actor for his stint in Zee Tv’s show Kunku. He was also a part of Marathi serials like Tu Majha Sangati, Nakushi, and Jyotiba Phule. Recently, He had also featured in a Marathi film called Barayan.
