Mumbai: A minor commits suicide in a train

It has come to light that a boy between the age of 14 and 15 committed suicide in the Dehradun Express that arrived at Bandra Terminus. In this case, a case of death has been registered at the Bandra Railway Police Station. When the Dehradun Express arrived at Platform No. 3 at Bandra Terminus on Sunday, the boy entered the train through the emergency window and committed suicide by hanging himself with the iron chain.

While the Railway Security Force personnel were inspecting the train, they saw that the boy had hanged himself. He was immediately rushed to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra. But the doctors there declared him dead.

The identity of the dead child is yet to be ascertained and the Bandra Railway Police registered a case of accidental death in this case. The deceased boy is believed to be a resident of Delhi. Efforts are on to identify him.
