According to reports, the incident occurred when a high-speed bike lost control and struck a person on the road. The force of the impact was severe, leading to fatal injuries for all those involved.
The deceased include a senior citizen who was hit by the motorcycle, as well as a young man and a young woman who were on the bike. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but all three victims were declared dead.
Authorities have begun an investigation into the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that overspeeding may have been a major factor in the crash.
The incident has once again raised concerns about reckless driving and road safety along Mumbai’s busy coastal stretch.
