A food poisoning incident was reported on 17 November 2025 at 2:15 pm from KVK School, a private school located on Sainath Nagar Road in Ghatkopar (West). According to information provided by the security guard of Rajawadi Hospital, five children fell ill after consuming samosas from the school canteen.
Dr. Ajit, AMO at Rajawadi Hospital, confirmed that two children Ikra Jafar Miyaj Sayyad (11) and Vaija Gulam Husen (10) are in stable condition and are receiving treatment on an OPD basis.
The other three children, Rajik Khan (11), Aarush Khan (11), and Afjal Shaikh (11), were brought to the hospital but opted for DAMA and were discharged. The update was recorded at 2:45 pm.
