Amidst the raid conducted around 2:30 am, the crime branch of Mumbai Police booked 42 people in a hookah parlour residing in suburban Andheri.

On Saturday, February 6, the crime branch of the Mumbai Police raided a hookah parlour being operated from the terrace of a hotel in suburban Andheri.

Moreover, the police further booked 42 people. Meanwhile, amidst the raid conducted around 2:30 am, the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) found that at least 27 customers were being served hookah. In addition, the officials stated that the hookah was found to be tobacco mixed further adding that various flavours such as pots, cigarettes and other types of equipment were also seized.

On the other hand, with Valentine’s Day closing in, several new forms of fraud are emerging every day on social media which has led to multiple citizens getting robbed by cybercriminals in the digital world.

Currently, a message related to Valentine's Day is going viral on social media. According to the message, if you answer one question, you will get many gifts including a mobile phone. However, the message, which went viral on social media is fake. Moreover, Mumbai Cyber Police has also appealed to the citizens not to fall prey to any fraudulent links on social media.

In addition, the cyber police wing of the Mumbai Police has issued an advisory regarding a message, suspected to be a phishing attack, making the rounds on various social media and messenger platforms offering a free stay at Taj hotels.

The viral message reads "I received a gift card from Taj Hotel and got a chance to stay in Taj for 7 days for free". However, this message is followed by a fraudulent link which could steal data like passwords and bank details from the system or phone once clicked.
