The Aarey police on Thursday registered a case against a 15-year-old boy who called a three-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her on the pretext of playing hide-and-seek. The accused boy has been sent to the Dongri Children's Correctional Home.
The victim girl is three years and 10 months old. In August, the accused called the victim girl on the pretext of playing hide and seek and committed lewd acts. Then on October 9, the accused again sexually assaulted her by calling her to play.
After the victim girl's mother complained to the police, the police registered a case under the Rape, Indecent Abuse and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act on Thursday. As the accused is a minor, he has been sent to Dongri Children's Reformatory.
